Scuba Diving Types

Can you imagine diving underwater without any breathing apparatus? You cannot, but if you get an apparatus that lets you breathe properly underwater then you can have the most enjoyable time underwater.

The Scuba Diving System is self-contained breathing equipment which is used while swimming underwater. The Scuba Diving System is also used by military people too. It is the best way to explore the underwater world and to see the hidden treasures of nature, like beautiful seahorses and colorful reefs and corals. Diving is actually an interesting activity, a combination of risk and fun altogether. This daring water sport is of two types mainly; the Open Diving and Closed Diving. In the Open Diving, the diver breathes air out of a gas cylinder and exhales the gas into water, while ‘Closed Diving’ allows a diver to reuse the gas he is breathing. The Open Diving is actually the basic or first level of the certification and is basically used for sightseeing and gazing at wonderful underwater fauna. The Open Divers are also free to try Night Diving and Wreck Diving but the diver is not allowed to enter the cave or wreck as it needs additional training and experience. The Cave Diving is another type for the experienced Scuba Divers only. It is totally a unique type of diving that is both fascinating and adventurous. The Rescue Diving is basically used in case of emergency. The Rescue Divers need to learn transports that include piggyback swimming, standard first aid and other related things. The Drift Diving is also one of the popular types of diving in which location and the current of the water is important. It is considered as the most relaxing and pleasing type of diving as the diver does not need to exert himself by swimming.

No matter which type of Scuba Diving you are interested in but the proper training is the key to enjoy this water sport. There are so many Scuba Diving schools in which experienced instructors train people from equipment to Scuba Diving techniques. It is important before going for Scuba Diving that one should undergo a medical check up, as patients of epilepsy or asthma are not allowed to even try it as it can aggravate their problem. The pregnant women are also not allowed to go for Scuba Diving.

Important equipments used by the divers are the fins, mask, snorkels, wet suits and some other accessories like watches, belts and others. If you are not fully equipped with these accessories, it would be impossible for you to dive underwater. The equipments that are used for scuba diving are mostly expensive but for people who cannot afford can rent the equipments too. So, if you can afford to face the underwater life, if your pocket allows to spend so much on this fun-filled activity and if you like to explore new things then any type of Scuba Diving can be an interesting sport to you.
